My Birthday and baby bump day!/ Sugar Land Maternity Photographer!

So today is my 35th birthday, and I am picking today to put my pregnant belly on display.  I have had many ideas cross my mind for this blog.  From talking about having a large family, or pregnancy, or just “how exactly did I get to be 35?”  So, I figure I will just go for broke, it’s my party I can go on and on if I want to!

My idea behind this image came from other people, When hearing that I was expecting my 5th baby, one lady said “Wow, you are wonder woman!” and I have heard “brave” at least a dozen times.  It is funny though I didn’t expect a lot of support this time around, but just when you think people are going to fail you, they do the exact opposite of what you think.  I have had so much support from my friends, and of course my amazing husband, my wonderful kids, and “couldn’t do it without them” family.

The point is, I am so NOT wonder woman and as I was lying in bed (wide awake) at 2 am I started thinking… my current baby had just come down stairs, tapped me on the back… causing me to spring from the bed like no woman 32 weeks pregnant should be able to do, and told me her tummy was upset, then she went to the bathroom and gave the remains of her beef stew to the porcelain bowl, TMI?  Here is the deal yes, first steps, first words, first day of school are all milestones, but so is the ability to up chuck in the toilet, and my youngest just mastered that, yippie!!! But wait in 8 weeks I will be starting at the beginning of all the milestones again, but this go around I have new carpet, and a new couch.  And to tell you the truth I couldn’t be happier, honestly I have been on a happy high!!  I am not just saying that I have amazing kids, I really do.  And, when you hear people say they love their husbands more today than they day they married, I can attest that is true.  God put this really amazing guy in my life, and he gave me this spectacular family, so yeah I may be 35, but it is fabulous.

My advice to anyone…

“You are never too old to grow”

“Never run out of milestones”

“And in 10 years you will look back and never believe you were this young!”

Lastly, It is the first day of October and the official start of Breast cancer awareness month.  I had my first mammogram at 31 which turned out to just be a mass of tissue, “thank you breast feeding.”  And a few months ago I found a small knot in my right breast, I had an ultrasound last month… and thank God it is just a hormonal cyst “thank you pregnancy” but please ladies if there is one thing you can do for yourself… Let your fingers do the walking, get to know your breast, so if something is off you will know it right away!

All the walks are coming up so please support those folks who are getting out there and pounding the pavement to find a cure, and if you would like to leave a name and comment on the blog, I will add the survivors, as well as the angels in heaven to my prayer list for October.
